Warranty (rękojmia) is a statutory right against the seller for product defects, valid for 2 years. Guarantee is a voluntary commitment by the manufacturer or seller. Both rights operate independently — you may choose the more favourable one.
Consumers have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. The seller must refund within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice or the returned goods.
These are provisions in consumer contracts that grossly violate consumer interests — e.g. exclusion of seller liability or unreasonably short complaint periods. Such clauses are not binding on the consumer by operation of law.
