FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions before choosing a firm.

A residence card is issued by the regional governor (voivode). Required documents depend on the basis of stay (work, family, study, international protection). An immigration lawyer will prepare a complete application and help avoid formal errors that delay the process.

You may appeal to the higher authority (Head of the Office for Foreigners) within 14 days. If unsuccessful, a complaint can be filed with the Regional Administrative Court.

EU citizens may do so on general terms. Non-EU citizens may set up limited liability and joint-stock companies without restrictions, and a sole proprietorship (JDG) subject to holding an appropriate residence or work permit.
