FAQ

What is an annuity (fixed) instalment?: It is a fixed payment — you pay the same amount each month. At the start most of it is interest, later — principal. The formula is the same for all banks; interest and APRC differ, so the actual payment depends on the offer.
Where to get the interest rate?: The bank gives the rate (WIBOR + margin) in the offer or simulation. Enter that value. The calculator does not compute APRC or include insurance and fees — the result is indicative.
Does the calculator include insurance and fees?: No. It only shows the instalment on the loan amount at the given rate. The bank offer adds e.g. insurance, fees — APRC shows the full cost.
Fixed or decreasing instalment?: This calculator uses a fixed (annuity) instalment. With decreasing instalments the amount changes (higher at the start). The bank will state the type in the offer.
